Downhill skiing
Downhill skiing has completely disappeared due to increasingly irregular snow conditions, ageing equipment and competition amongst mountain resorts. However, our children can discover the joys of skiing thanks to Ludoski, installed on the Croix de Chaubouret snow front in Le Bessat.
Nordic skiing
Free style or skating
Skating, also known as "pas du patineur", can be practised on the only adapted and marked out area in Le Bessat-Les Grands Bois with almost 35 km of runs of varying difficulty from green to black.
Classic style
A traditional technique used since the origins of the discipline, the "alternative walk" is particularly suitable for beginners or for walks. All our areas are marked out for this discipline.
Sledging
If you wish to practice this winter leisure activity in a safe and adapted place, go to the sledging area of the Croix de Chaubouret in Le Bessat.
Ludoski
The Ludoski is located at the Croix de Chaubouret in Le Bessat, on the snow front. It is a space specially designed for children to learn to ski.
Zig-zag tracks, bumps, steep turns and playful figurines, in a safe space... The place is ideal to learn skiing safely!
