A forest in heritage
The Taillard forest stretches over three departments: Loire (42), Ardèche (07) and Haute-Loire (43) and has two long-distance hiking trails which intersect across it: the mythical GR 65, the European route to Santiago de Compostela, and the GR 7 (from Macon to Castelnaudarry), a total of 10 km in the middle of the forest which can be walked or as a trail run!
Finally, the Viafluvia offers a beautiful bike ride at the foot of this beautiful forest area.
