Crêt de l'Oeillon

Overlooking the Alps

The Crêt de l'Oeillon, surmounted by its relay antenna, gives the massif its mountain identity !

The second most remarquable summit of the Pilat

This is the second most remarquable summit of the Pilat after le Crêt de la Perdrix, this gneiss and granit giant stands 1,364 meters above sea level. The Crêt’s main highlight has to be the view it offers over the Trois dents and the Rhône valley at its foot. On a clear day, the eye is lost to strange apparitions which imprint their relief on the horizon: the Vercors mountains, the Ecrins and the Mont-Blanc range, for a natural spectacle which is both surreal and majestic.
