  • A place of memory of the textile activity of the Haut-Pilat. A reconstituted know-how: flat and workshop of the passementier as they existed in the last century, JACQUARD ribbon loom in function and video presenting the life of the passementier.

  • The Passementerie Museum was opened for the 1973 summer season. The "Fabrique", a large room designed to house the imposing JACQUARD ribbon looms, is lit by large bay windows.

    Here you will find:
    - on the ground floor, the passementier's flat and its period furniture from the middle of the 19th century.
    - a second room, containing numerous collections of ribbons woven in the village since 1660, as well as a video corner to enjoy the exclusive film UNE VIE DE PASSEMENTIER.
